About ClipSonic

AI-powered clipping software built with passion and innovation

Empowering Creators with Automated Clipping

ClipSonic was born from a simple belief: turning a long video into finished shorts shouldn't mean a monthly subscription, an upload to someone else's servers, or hours of manual scrubbing.

We built ClipSonic so cutting, reframing, captioning, and exporting all run locally on your machine — your video is never uploaded anywhere. Whether you're a YouTuber, podcaster, streamer, or course creator, ClipSonic gives you the tools to turn one long recording into a week of ready-to-post shorts.

Built by a Creator Who Needed It

ClipSonic is built by Liaqat Ali — known online as Liaqat Eagle — a developer, educator and YouTube creator from Faisalabad, Pakistan. Over 11 years in tech he has taught more than 550,000 students on Udemy, Skillshare and his own platforms, grown YouTube channels past 500,000 subscribers, and shipped 15+ software products.

ClipSonic started as a personal problem. Running long-form YouTube channels means every upload is also a week's worth of Shorts — if you can find the moments and cut them. The cloud tools that do this wanted a monthly subscription, a fresh upload of every video to their servers, and still put a watermark on the free tier. As someone who clips his own videos every week, that maths never worked.

So he built the tool he wanted: a desktop app that downloads or ingests a long video, finds the strong moments with AI, tracks faces into a 9:16 crop, burns in captions, and renders it all locally — no upload, no per-clip meter, one payment. ClipSonic is what he uses on his own channels, released for other creators doing the same thing.
